- Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce — As a leading business organization, the Chamber collaborates with NMCOG on economic development initiatives, workforce support, and regional marketing.
- Greater Lowell Convention & Visitors Bureau — The bureau works with NMCOG in promoting tourism, recreational assets, and enhancing visitor experiences across the region.
- Greater Lowell MassHire Workforce Board — The board partners with NMCOG on workforce development, job training, and aligning regional labor supply with employer demand. NMCOG also holds a seat on the board.
- Lowell Parks & Conservation Trust – NMCOG partners with the LPCT on outdoor recreation, open space, and regional trail planning, including development of the Regional Outdoor Asset Inventory.
- Lowell Regional Transit Authority (LRTA) — A critical transit partner in the region, LRTA collaborates with NMCOG and the NMMPO on route planning, service coordination, capital projects, transit funding planning, data collection and analysis.
- The Lowell Plan and Lowell Development & Financial Corporation — As a civic-driven planning and development organization in Lowell, The Lowell Plan and NMCOG coordinate on downtown revitalization, neighborhood planning, and shared development goals. NMCOG has a seat on the Lowell Development and Financial Corporation board.
- Massachusetts Association of Regional Planning Agencies (MARPA) — NMCOG is one of the 13 regional planning agencies and serves as a member of MARPA, participating in statewide discussions, training, and advocacy on behalf of regional planning agencies.
- Merrimack River Watershed Council — NMCOG collaborates on environmental stewardship, watershed management, and planning for flood resilience and ecological restoration.
- Middlesex 3 Coalition— Middlesex 3 partners with NMCOG to advance regional economic development goals and advance other regional issues including transportation, housing, and workforce.
