The nine communities in the Northern Middlesex region experience similar issues as other communities in Eastern Massachusetts regarding the lack of affordable housing and the escalating cost of housing in the community. NMCOG has provided Affordable Housing Plans in an effort to address the needs of individual communities and develop strategies for implementation of these plans.
